As part of our growth strategy, we’re delighted to announce two appointments of two new members to our Consultancy team. David Stuart joins us as Principal Consultant, and Neil Makwana joins as Principal Compliance Consultant.
Neil and David will join the team delivering outstanding regulatory compliance services in the UK and core markets around the world. This growth continues to build on their renowned capabilities in assisting clients with their regulatory and compliance needs.

David is a highly experienced professional in the Financial Services sector with almost 40 years of experience in first and second line roles. Also bringing strong expertise in regulatory change and implementation programmes. David also possesses in-depth knowledge of major European regulations, Corporate Governance and Operational Risk. Previously as COO at Alpari and European Head of Advisory Compliance Standard Chartered Bank.

Neil brings extensive experience from his roles at the UK FSA/PRA, Barclays. More recently in the digital assets sector with OKX and Copper Technologies. Neil’s deep regulatory knowledge and hands-on experience across digital asset regulatory licensing, structural reform, payments and other key regulatory issues will help Leaman Crellin clients.
